Best Boult Earbuds

Are you looking for the best Boult Earbuds in India?

Great,

Boult Audio is a well-known brand in India that has launched several great earphones and earbuds.

Their wired and wireless earphones are attractive, but the TWS earbuds are not far behind either.

So, if you prefer TWS earbuds, then we have listed the latest and best Boult TWS earbuds in India.

So which are the best Boult TWS earbuds? Let’s find out.

Why Should You Buy Boult Earbuds?

The TWS market is already full of big players like OnePlus, boAt, MI, and Realme. Then why should you choose Boult over any other brand?

The main reason for that is the value. Boult audio offers good value-for-money products.

We aren’t saying that Boult earbuds are phenomenal. But the value these earbuds offer is one of the best among all.

We have used their several earphones and found them on par with the competition.

Yes, companies like boAt or OnePlus offer very solid TWS, but Boult Audio isn’t far behind.

User Experience:

The newly launched Boult Audio Omega is one of the best TWS from the company.

The Boult Audio Omega seems to be a complete package, at least on paper. It has all the features you can imagine at this price, be it ANC, ENC, Gaming mode, or a bigger battery.

But how do these features perform in real life?

The Boult Omega is entirely made of plastic, like any other TWS of this segment, but the plastic they have used here is solid. Both the charging case and earbuds are well built and don’t feel cheap from any angle.

Long music sessions were never an issue, thanks to their comfortable design.

Because of the stem-style design, the earbuds fit perfectly in the ears. It’s a great option for those who prefer stem-style TWS earbuds.

After listening to music on the Boult Omega, we have realized that its sound quality is pretty good. It will not blow your mind, but it’s great and enjoyable.

As the earbuds come with three EQ modes, you can switch between them according to your needs.

  • Hi-Fi Mode: This mode is perfect among all the modes. It has a deep and heavy bass. The vocals are clear, and the treble is punchy. The overall instrument separation is good too.
  • Bass Boost Mode: The bass is boosted a little in this mode. It’s not overdone but increased up to a digestive level. The overall sound remains clear and enjoyable with slightly boosted bass. It’s perfect for those who prefer heavy bass.
  • Rock Mode: This mode enhances the loudness and tries to create a surround sound effect. It gets pretty loud but ends up disturbing vocals and treble.

So overall, we are pretty satisfied with the sound quality, and we enjoyed the Hi-Fi mode more than other modes.

Note that the ANC doesn’t make a significant difference. You will notice it when you turn it on, but it won’t block all the noise.

So the ANC is average, just like all the TWS at this price.

Another average thing is the call quality. It’s good indoors, but not so good outdoors.

Despite having ENC, it still picks noise, especially in a crowded environment.

The TWS tries its best to reduce noise but ends up compressing the voice clarity.

The dedicated gaming mode works pretty well and reduces the latency significantly.

The battery life is good, if not the best. At 90% volume with ANC turned on, it easily lasts for 5 hours. Turning off ANC increases the battery life further.

These numbers don’t match the company’s claimed ones, but still it’s very good battery life.

However, charging takes a lot of time, so keep that in mind.

You can use the earbuds in the rain to some extent as they are IPX5 rated.

Thanks to the overall features and sound, the Bolt Audio Omega has made its way to the list of best TWS earbuds under 2500.

Verdict: The Boult Audio Omega is a worthy TWS from Boult Audio. Yes, it doesn’t have that impressive ANC, but still, the overall sound output is enjoyable.

Pros and Cons

  • Lightweight and comfortable design
  • Enjoyable sound quality
  • Three EQ Modes
  • Deep bass and clear vocals
  • Good battery life
  • IPX5 water and sweat resistance
  • Bluetooth 5.2
  • Great for gaming
  • Feature-rich TWS
  • ANC doesn’t make a significant difference
  • Average call quality
  • Charging takes longer than expected

User Experience:

The newly launched Boult Audio AirBass Z20 is also a good TWS from the company. Although, it’s just a copy of the AirBass Y1.

The AirBass Z20 was launched at an introductory price of Rs 999, and for that price, it was an excellent TWS.

But now, it’s priced under Rs 1500, and for that price, it ends up being a decent TWS only.

What do these TWS earbuds have to offer?

Well, you will adore its build quality and design. The earbuds are made of solid plastic and have a glossy finish, making these earbuds look and feel premium.

But, the quality of the carrying case is just the opposite. It doesn’t feel as premium as the earbuds.

As these are stem-style earbuds, they fit perfectly in the ears. Wearing the TWS for hours won’t be a problem for you because of the comfortable design.

However, the comfort totally depends on your ear’s shape and size. But for the most part, these earbuds are designed to fit comfortably in the ears.

The sound quality is surprisingly good for the price. It’s loud and clear.

The bass is heavy and deep. It’s not overly heavy, but it’s very pleasing, to be honest.

The same goes for vocals, as they remain clear no matter what you are listening to. Treble is also very good.

In simple words, its sound quality is one of the best if you can get it for under 1000. But for Rs 1500, it’s just good.

The battery life won’t disappoint you, as the earbuds can last for 7 hours with music and 5 hours with music and calls mixed.

Topping up the earbuds doesn’t take much time either. 10 minutes of charge can give 1.5 hours of music playback.

We are surprised to see how hard this TWS tries to deliver good call quality.

There is no problem indoors, and the surrounding noise gets blocked while calling outdoors.

However, the earbuds tried so hard to block the noise that they ended up compressing the overall voice.

Verdict: There is no denying that Boult Audio AirBass Z20 is a capable and solid offering from Boult. It would have been great if the regular price was less than Rs 1200. It’s a great deal for that price.

Pros and Cons

  • Great build quality
  • Good sound quality for the price
  • Sufficient and deep bass
  • Good and comfortable design
  • Lightweight
  • Very good battery life
  • IPX5 sweat-proof
  • Stable connectivity
  • Good call quality
  • Average call quality outdoors
  • Slightly expensive for Rs 1500

User Experience:

Boult AirBass FX1 is another TWS from Boult that does a pretty good job of delivering good sound and features.

Although, it looks very similar to the AirBass Z20 with a slight change in design.

  • The Boult Audio AirBass FX1 has the same stem style design, which provides a good grip.
  • The solid and comfortable fit is the result of Airpods like design. The Boult AirBass FX1 fits comfortably in the ears, and listening to music for a longer session is no problem.
  • The earbuds and carrying case both are made of hard plastic. The earbuds feel sturdy so does the carrying case.
  •  The small form factor of the carrying case makes it easy to carry. It might affect the overall battery life, but we will come to that in a moment.
  • The connection on these earbuds is stable, thanks to Bluetooth 5.0.
  • Now coming to the most important aspect, the sound quality. As the name suggests, Boult Airbass FX1 is made for bass lovers. The bass is loud and deep. If you love DJs, Hip Hop, or any bass-rich songs, then you will like these earbuds.
  • On the flip side, the heavy bass affects the treble and vocals a bit. If you are not a bass head, and prefer vocal music, then you might get disappointed with these earbuds.
  • For battery, don’t fall for the company claims. In real life, we managed to get 4 hours of battery life on earbuds, and 15 hours of playback using the case. These numbers are appreciable considering the fact that the case is slim and earbuds are lightweight.
  • The indoor call quality is mostly good, but the moment you enter the crowded streets, call quality deteriorates significantly.

Verdict: The Boult AirBass FX1 is a good earbud, especially for bass lovers. Note that the sound stages are limited, and you may not feel every single beat of the songs.

Pros and Cons

  • Decent build quality
  • A good option for bass lovers
  • Comfortable design
  • Lightweight
  • Slim carrying case
  • Decent battery life
  • IPX5 sweat-proof
  • Stable connectivity
  • Good call quality indoors
  • Average call quality outdoors
  • Not so loud
  • Treble and vocals get a little distorted with the bass

User Experience:

The Boult TrueBuds is one of the most popular earbuds from the company.

It’s a featured-packed earbud that has been priced well. That’s why a lot of people are interested in this earbud.

  • This TWS doesn’t follow the stem style design. So if you prefer compact size regular-looking earbuds, then this one is a good option for you.
  • The build quality is plastic, as usual, but it’s solid and feels sturdy. Even the carrying case is also made of good quality plastic.
  • The earbuds are tiny, and hence, they get fitted in the ears easily. You can listen to music for hours without any earache.
  • The Bluetooth 5.0 works well without any disconnection problem.
  • The driver size is not mentioned by the company, but from the sound, it seems like a 6mm driver.
  • Now coming to the sound quality, it’s a good mixture of bass, treble, and mids. The bass is not heavy, but it’s well-tuned and clearly audible.
  • The bass is not overpowered which means you can clearly feel the treble and vocals. On a negative note, the sound quality distorts a little at full volume. Keep the volume at 70-80% to have a good music listening experience.
  • The battery can last for 4 hours on a single charge. The playtime using the case was around 25 hours, which was 5 hours less than the company has claimed.

Verdict: The Boult TrueBuds is not going to blow your mind, but it’s going to satisfy your music needs. It’s an overall good product with no major complaints. Hence, it is one of the best Boult earbuds.

  • Good build quality
  • Comfortable design

  • Decent battery life
  • Overall good sound quality
  • IPX7 sweat-proof
  • Stable connectivity

User Experience:

Boult PowerBuds is similar to the TrueBuds, but PowerBuds is costlier and offers slightly more features. So what are the differences between these two?

As the name suggests, PowerBuds are filled with power, or you can say battery.

  • The biggest selling point is the 120 hours of playtime. But don’t get tricked by the advertisement.
  • The earbuds can last for 4 hours on a single charge. The case can charge earbuds four times. So technically, you will get 16 hours of battery life with the case.
  • The good thing is that you can use the carrying case as a power bank to charge your phone.
  • The Bluetooth 5.0 helps the earbuds to have fast and stable transmission without tangling. The connection is stable, for the most part.
  • The design is also comfortable, and you will not have much problem with it.
  • Talking about the sound quality, it’s similar to the TrueBuds. The bass is there, but the thump is missing. Heavy bass lovers might desire more bass out of these. Yes, using an EQ to make the earbud sound better is a good option.
  • Trebel and vocals are great. You can clearly listen to the beats and lyrics of a song. Although, the sound is not the loudest.
  • IPX7 rating combined with inner nano-coating makes the earbuds waterproof and the case splash resistant.
  • The call quality is more or less average. It’s good indoors and below-average outdoors.

Verdict: The Powerbuds is a decent product that offer satisfactory sound quality. If you really want the extra juice from the carrying case, then go for it.

Pros and Cons

  • Good build quality
  • Comfortable design
  • Lightweight
  • Decent battery life
  • Overall good sound quality
  • IPX7 sweat-proof
  • Stable connectivity
  • Passive Noise Cancellation
  • Decent call quality indoors
  • Poor call quality outdoors
  • They should have improved the earbud’s battery life instead of the case’s battery
