User Experience:

We generally don’t see featured-packed laptops from top brands in budget. Most of the time, these top brands charge extra to get their premium laptops.

But HP is taking care of it and offering their reliable laptops without costing much.

The HP Pavilion series has been people’s favorite for a long time, and the HP Pavilion 14 continues this trend.

Starting with the design, it’s a professional-looking laptop with a clean design. The edges are sharp and enhance its overall looks.

For office or professional users, it’s the right design.

The body of the laptop is made of plastic, but it doesn’t feel cheap at all. It’s a good quality hard plastic that gives a premium feel.

Having a plastic body shouldn’t be an issue until you throw your laptop here and there.

Open the lid, and you are treated with a premium appearance. The keyboard layout and narrow bezel display give an appealing look.

It’s a 14-inch FHD good quality display that produces some good colors. It’s not the perfect display, but it’s more than enough for the majority of people.

Doing daily work or watching content is a joyful experience on this display. This experience is further enhanced with B&O dual speakers that sound loud and rich.

Powering the laptop is the Ryzen 5 5500U processor, which is a beast in this segment. It has six cores and eight threads, making it capable of handling heavy tasks with ease.

The speed is further enhanced with the 512GB SSD and 8GB RAM. Luckily, both the RAM and storage are upgradeable.

Doing heavy tasks on this laptop isn’t an issue, and this laptop is capable of handling such tasks easily.

The 43Wh Li-ion battery can last up to five-six hours depending on your usage. It’s not the best, but it’s just fine for most people. Charging this battery from 0-50% only takes 30 minutes.

Because of the large keys, the typing experience is satisfactory. Also, the keyboard is backlit, so there is no need to worry about using the laptop in the dark.

Not everything is in favor of HP Pavilion 14. There is no fingerprint scanner here. The fingerprint scanner is only available in the 16GB RAM variant. The charger included in the box feels slightly cheap.

And lastly, the power button is placed weirdly beside the delete button, which may lead to accidental presses.

Now, looking at the overall laptop, it delivers an excellent value. It offers great performance along with some useful features. There is no denying that it’s one of the best laptops between 50000 to 60000.

Pros and Cons

  • Good display with thin bezels
  • Sleek and professional-looking design
  • Sturdy build
  • Mighty processor for the price

  • Decent battery life on normal use
  • Fast charging
  • Backlit keyboard
  • Pre-installed MS Office H&S 2019 with lifetime validity

User Experience:

The number one spot on this list is earned by the latest Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 2021. It’s safe to call it the best laptop in 50k to 60k range.

Either its features, design, or portability, the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 just nailed all these segments.

Starting with the design, the IdeaPad Slim 3 has a simple but functional design. The clean-looking chassis with a tiny brand sticker on the right side gives it a professional look.

Even the build quality is also solid. Once you hold this laptop, its sturdiness will assure you of a good build.

The Slim 3 houses a 14-inch Full HD panel. The quality of the display is enjoyable, and the colors are mostly accurate. It’s an anti-glare display with 300 nits of peak brightness.

Using this laptop outdoors is not a problem until you sit directly in harsh sunlight.

Because it’s the latest laptop from Lenovo, the processor used here is also the latest, which is 11th Gen Intel Core i5-1135G7.

This processor combined with 8GB RAM and 512GB SSD results in a silky smooth performance. From booting to app opening, every action performed is blazing fast. Luckily, you have an option to upgrade the RAM up to 12GB.

The integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics card made heavy tasks like video editing and medium gaming possible on this laptop. Note that it’s not a gaming laptop, so you have to limit your gaming expectations here.

For gaming lovers, it’s not the right laptop. Looking for other gaming laptops is a good idea in that case. But for light games, it’s good enough.

The dual 1.5W Dolby stereo speakers take care of the entertainment. These speakers are loud enough to fill the room.

Features like a fingerprint scanner, backlit keyboard, eye care, USB Type C port make this laptop a complete package.

All these features packed in a body that weighs 1.4 kg make portability a no issue.

However, one area where this laptop lacks a little is the battery life. The 45 Whr battery is claimed to last for 6 hours, but in real life, it lasts for 4.5 hours at max. It’s not that bad, but it’s far from the best.

The overall laptop is a complete package. It has all the features and delivers an excellent performance, which makes it one of the best laptops in the 50-60k range.

Pros and Cons

  • Great display with good colors
  • Thin bezels
  • Sleek professional looking design
  • Sturdy build
  • A powerful processor
  • Dolby dual speakers sound good
  • Upgradeable RAM
  • Fast charging
  • Fingerprint scanner
  • Backlit keyboard
  • Battery life could have been improved

Gone are the days when Ryzen used to be an underwhelming processor. AMD has come a long way now.

Only a few know how good Ryzen laptops are, especially in the graphics department.

The latest HP 14s is very similar to HP Pavilion 14, which is already the best HP laptop in 50000 to 60000 range.

Just like the Pavilion 14, the vital talking point here is also the 4th Gen Ryzen 5 5500U processor. This processor is a beast when it comes to handling heavy duties.

Video editing and playing games are possible, thanks to the 6 Cores and 12 Threads. It’s not a gaming machine to play AAA titles, but casual gaming isn’t an issue.

The 8GB RAM and 512GB SSD take care of multitasking and speed, respectively. The apps open in a blink of an eye, and you can feel how fast the laptop responds.

RAM is expandable up to 16GB, which makes it future-proof for any up-gradation.

This laptop houses a 14-inch FHD screen. Thanks to the thin bezels, the form factor doesn’t feel big.

The quality of the display is substantial. It produces very well-balanced colors that look great. Doing daily work or watching content is a pleasant experience.

The laptop is made of plastic, but it’s solid and gives the feel of steel. The whole experience is positive, even with the plastic build.

The battery life is solid 6 hours with medium to heavy use. It’s not mind-blowing, but it’s far better than most of the laptops.

Some users might get disappointed with the fact that there is no fingerprint scanner on this laptop.

Weighing at 1.46kg, carrying this laptop in your backpack is convenient.

It’s an excellent laptop from a reputed brand. The best part is, this laptop costs around 53-55k, and for that money, it’s a stellar deal.

People started to realize how capable Ryzen CPUs are, and they showed more interest in them.

It led the companies to adopt Ryzen CPUs to meet the demand of people.

Asus, a brand known for listening to its customers to deliver what they want, also joined this route and launched some great laptops with Ryzen CPUs.

The newly launched ASUS VivoBook Ultra K15 (2021) is possibly the best laptop in 60000 range.

Housing a 15.6-inch FHD display, this laptop is bigger than other ones. But thanks to the thin bezels, the overall size of the laptop doesn’t feel that big.

The quality of the panel is on point. The colors are great for watching content or doing daily work. For entertainment purposes, the big display does help.

The laptop’s body is made of hard plastic and feels sturdy, so there is no need to worry about the build.

Like HP 14s, the ASUS VivoBook Ultra K15 also gets the processing power from AMD Ryzen 5 5500U CPU. We have already talked about this mighty processor.

If you want to store a lot of media files without compromising on speed, then this laptop offers a 1TB HDD and 256GB SSD combo.

The powerful processor combined with SSD results in super fast speed. Whatever you do on this laptop, it gets done in the blink of an eye.

8GB RAM is upgradeable up to 12GB, which is a good thing for future upgrades.

Despite having a 42WHrs battery, you will not be disappointed with the same. The battery is claimed to last for 8 hours, but on a regular day, you can achieve 5 hours of battery life which is good.

The latest Wifi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 take care of connectivity. Even the features like a backlit keyboard, fingerprint scanner, and Type C port add extra convenience.

Because this laptop is big compared to others, it weighs 1.8Kg which is not that light for portability.

Do you want the best Acer laptop in the range of 60000? If yes, then there is no need to look anywhere else.

From a design to specifications perspective, the Acer Aspire 5 truly shines.

But, first thing first. This laptop is available in both Intel i5 11th gen and Ryzen 5 5500U variants. We have chosen the Ryzen variant, not the Intel variant.

Why? Because Intel variant has some heating issues

We are committed to delivering the best gadget advice to you, so we have chosen the Ryzen variant.

Coming to the Acer Aspire 5, this laptop is made of plastic, just like other laptops. But the quality of plastic is on par with HP or Asus laptops. The laptop is really well-built.

The sleek design makes it one of the best professional-looking laptops

It comes with a 15.6-inch FHD display which is a larger one. But thanks to the two-sided thin bezels, the laptop doesn’t feel big.

The quality of the display is great, if not the best. Colors are well saturated with no issue at all. With a peak brightness of 300 nits, this display is visible outdoors.

As said earlier, this variant comes with Ryzen 5 5500U processor that can handle anything you throw at it.

Storage options are 8GB RAM and 512GB SSD. You can upgrade the RAM up to 24GB and add a 2TB HDD. It’s nice to have the option of upgrading both RAM and storage.

One major advantage this laptop has over the other is the battery life. This laptop could easily last for 8-10 hours, which is just impressive.

The omission of the fingerprint scanner is a letdown, but other features like a backlit keyboard, dual-band Wi-Fi 6, and a Type-C port add convenience.

For those who want to invest their money in the right laptop without any regret, then this is the best laptop in the range of 50000 to 60000 to buy.

Pros and Cons

  • Good display with accurate colors

  • Excellent processor for the price

Dell is one of the best laptop brands in India. It’s a reputed brand that is known for delivering reliable products.

A lot of people prefer Dell over any other brand. For those, the Dell Inspiron 3501 could be the best Dell laptop in range of 50000 to 60000.

But remember, because it’s a reputed brand, you might have to compromise on some specs.

Before that, let’s see what this laptop has to offer.

Because of the 15.6-inch FHD display, this laptop has slightly wider and taller footprints. The side-bezels are smaller, but the top and bottom bezels aren’t.

The quality of the display is good. The colors are punchy, and doing daily stuff on this display is no problem.

The entire laptop is made of plastic, just like other ones. Once you hold the laptop, you will immediately know that it’s plastic. Overall quality is neither impressive nor cheap.

When it comes to performance, you are going to be left impressed here. The latest Intel Core i5-1135G7 11th gen is running the show here.

Combining the power of this CPU with 256GB SSD results in excellent performance. The laptop responds quickly to every action. An additional 1TB HDD is there to store media files.

Unfortunately, the 8GB RAM can’t be upgraded.

Another point of concern is that there is no backlit keyboard and fingerprint scanner. It could be a deal-breaker for many.

Battery life is acceptable, and the laptop can last up to 4.5-5 hours on a single charge.

Finally, after looking at all the aspects, it’s safe to say that Dell Inspiron 3501 is possibly the best Dell laptop in 60000 range.

Pros and Cons

  • Good display with accurate colors
  • Two-sided thin bezels
  • Sleek design
  • Great processor for the price
  • Tons of storage storage
  • Decent battery life
  • Above-average speaker quality
  • Fast charging
  • No fingerprint scanner
