Redmi always dominated the 15k segment, but this time around, the price has been increased. But this increased price is justified because Redmi Note Pro is offering a lot of features in return.

You might be wondering why we didn’t include the Redmi Note Pro Max

It’s because the Note 10 Pro is a better value. The only difference between Note 10 Pro and Pro Max is the camera. But the difference in real-life performance isn’t prominent.

So, spending 2k extra just for a little difference in camera quality doesn’t make any sense.

Now coming to the device, it’s safe to call the Redmi Note 10 Pro one the best mobile between 15000 to 20000.

The moment you hold the phone, you are treated with a premium build and design. The back is just a regular glass with no protection, but the front has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 safety. The smartphone feels sturdy in hand.

The 6.67-inch display is a highlighting factor. It is an AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The quality of the panel is great and the colors produced are punchy and deep. The tenderness of 120Hz makes every action silky smooth.

Note 10 Pro houses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G processor, which is a gaming optimized CPU. The gaming performance on this device is a treat with little to no lag on heavy titles.

Even performing day-to-day tasks in a smooth experience.

Coming to the cameras, it’s probably one of the best camera phones under 18k. It’s not going to blow your mind, but it’s way better than the competition.

The 64MP camera captures really sharp images in the day as well as in low light. The colors, dynamic range, and details are well preserved in most of the shots.

The color shift is evident when switching to the wide-angle camera, but it does the job. The 5MP Telemacro camera is better than the 2MP.

The selfie camera is not going to disappoint you either. It’s a 16MP lens that captures really sharp selfies in most lighting conditions.

The 5020 mAH battery can easily last for a day on heavy use and 1.5 days on regular use. The 33W fast charger is included in the box.

We can’t forget the dual speakers that sound great. The bass is slightly lacking, but the loudness is more than enough.

It’s not a 5G phone, but Xiaomi may launch its 5G variant in the future.

So, Is it worth buying Redmi Note 10 Pro?

If you want great cameras, excellent display, great battery life, and good quality speakers, then this is the phone for you. Keep in mind that it’s not a 5G phone, and MIUI might not be the taste of everyone.

Pros and Cons

User Experience:

For starters, IQOO is a sub-brand of VIVO. So if you are worried about this unheard brand, then you shouldn’t be. You can pick any VIVO service center for it.

Coming to the device, the iQOO Z3 5G is an excellent power machine that doesn’t compromise much on other specs either.

Despite having some flaws, it still manages to get a respectful place on this list.

Talking about the flaws, this phone asks you for permission no matter what you do for the first time. From opening the camera, dialer, or even gallery, you need to grant permission. It is ridiculous and needs to be stopped.

Coming to the phone, it’s made of plastic. The quality of plastic is good and gives a feel of glass. If you use back covers, then there is no need to worry.

Turn the phone around, and you are offered a 6.58 inch 120Hz IPS LCD display. Despite being an IPS display, the quality of the panel is vibrant.

It would have been great if they had included an AMOLED display, but still, the overall experience is eye-pleasing.

The main highlight of this phone is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G 5G processor. It’s an octa-core 7nm processor, but its performance is going to put a smile on your face.

IQOO Z3 has the guts to compete with more expensive smartphones. From apps opening to video rendering, everything gets done in the fastest way possible.

And yes, this phone is a treat for gamer. Powerful CPU combined with 120Hz panel with 180Hz touch sampling rate, makes the gaming experience immersive.

This phone isn’t going to disappoint camera lovers either. The images captured by the 64MP Main camera are excellent for the most part.

The photos are well detailed, and the dynamic range is one of the best in this segment. This phone handles harsh lightning conditions way better than any other phone.

Remaining two cameras aren’t impressive, but they do the job pretty well. The 16MP selfie camera is not as good as the rear one, but it also managed to get sharp selfie images with good colors.

The 4400mAh battery lasts for a full day, depending on your usage. Heavy users might need to fill it up by the evening, and this is where the 55W charger comes into play. It can fill up the battery from 0-100% in 50-55 minutes.

Funtouch OS might look like stock android, but it doesn’t work alike. You need to uninstall a lot of bloatware after buying it. Also, it has only two 5G bands.

Now coming to the main question, Is iQOO Z3 5G worth buying?

See, if you want a phone that is excellent in performance & gaming, great in cameras, and pretty good in the other department, then there is no need to look anywhere else. IQOO Z3 is indeed the best phone between 15000 to 20000.

Pros and Cons

  • Excellent images in most lighting conditions
  • Super smooth display with 120Hz refresh rate
  • One of the most powerful SD768G processor
  • 5G capable
  • Excellent smartphone for gaming
  • Good battery life
  • Super fast charging
  • Adequate speaker quality
  • A value for money smartphone
  • Require permissions for mostly every app
  • Privacy issues
  • No AMOLED display

Realme is a brand that has the courage to launch new phones every week. It seems like Realme is competing with itself, not with others.

Realme 8 Pro, X7, and Narzo 30 Pro are the phones that are so close in features and price that it is very difficult to choose the right one.

But we have selected the Realme Narzo 30 Pro here.

Why? Because It’s the most value for money smartphone that performs really well in most regards.

This smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 800U processor, which is a future-ready CPU with four 5G bands. It’s a powerful octa-core mid-range CPU that can handle heavy tasks like gaming easily.

The gaming experience is even enhanced with the 6.5-inch 120Hz display. It’s an IPS display, not AMOLED, so keep that in mind. Although, the quality of the panel is great, and the colors are vivid and punchy.

Narzo 30 Pro is made up of plastic, and the quality is not substantial. It doesn’t feel cheap, but it’s not premium either.

The camera quality is great for the price. The daylight photos taken with the 48MP primary sensor are exceptionally good, but quality takes a hit in the low light.

The 8MP wide-angle camera also produces decent photos, but the 2MP camera is there to just increase the camera count.

The selfies from the 16MP camera are good without the AI recognition and beauty enhancement.

5000 mAh battery can easily last for 1.5 days, and filling it up takes 1 hour 10 minutes only.

It’s a dual 5G phone which means whenever 5G is going to work in your location, both the sim cards will support 5G.

Finally, coming to the main question, Should you buy the Realme Narzo 30 Pro?

If you are looking for a future-ready 5G phone that doesn’t break your bank and offers all the good features, then go for this smartphone. It has good cameras, perform great, and has good battery life. It’s easily one of the best phones between 15000 to 20000.

Pros and Cons

  • Great images in daylight
  • Super smooth display with 120Hz refresh rate
  • Capable MediaTek Dimensity 800U processor
  • Dual 5G with four bands
  • Good for gaming
  • Great battery life
  • Adequate speaker quality
  • A value for money smartphone
  • Build quality doesn’t feel that sturdy
  • Should have given an AMOLED display

POCO took more than a year to launch their second device after the POCO F1. The hopes were high for the second product, but it ended up being a disappointment to a lot of users.

Later, POCO launched so many smartphones that made users confused. The same story continues further.

Luckily, POCO launched a phone that we can call the best phone between 15k to 20k segment.

If you are a person who can’t compromise on performance, then POCO X3 Pro is the most powerful smartphone under 20k.

Offering a Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 processor, the POCO X3 Pro shines in the performance department. Basically, SD860 is also named SD 855+ because it’s an overclocked version of SD855.

It is a flagship processor from last year, and you can imagine how powerful it could be. It can handle every game with ease.

The 120Hz display enhances the gaming experience even further. But the saturated colors of an AMOLED display are compromised because it’s an IPS display.

For photography lovers, this phone could be a hit and miss. It takes good shots in daylight, but the sharpness is missing for sure. Photos look good, but when you zoom in, you will find the details are missing.

The 8MP wide-angle and 2MP macro cameras do the job perfectly. Even the selfies from the 20MP front camera are also good.

It’s safe to call it a full-day smartphone because it houses a 5160 mAh battery. It can last for 1.5 days with ease. The 33W charger comes in handy when it comes to filling up the battery.

Note that it’s a heavy phone weighing 213 grams. But you will get used to it after a week or so. Also, it’s not a 5G ready phone.

IP53 splash-proof protection ensures that the phone can handle minor water dips.

Now, Who should buy the POCO X3 Pro?

If you can compromise a little on the camera and IPS display, but you want the most powerful phone for gaming and heavy stuff, then you should not skip this phone. It’s the right smartphone for you.

Pros and Cons

  • Impressive performance
  • Immersive gaming experience
  • Good quality display with high refresh rate
  • Fast UFS 3.1 storage
  • Great battery life
  • Loud and clear dual speakers
  • Excellent value for money
  • Average cameras
  • It’s heavy
  • Saturation of AMOLED display is missing

5. Realme X7

The last smartphone on this list is the Realme X7. It’s a great smartphone with some weird compromises.

It’s not a bad smartphone, but the compromises it has can be deal breakers for many.

Talking about the same, this phone doesn’t have a 3.5mm audio jack. We don’t know what made Realme think of omitting the jack.

It doesn’t support storage expansion because there is no card slot in it. Even the carrier aggregation is missing here, which might be a deal-breaker for some.

Lastly, it has a standard 60Hz panel. But luckily, it’s an AMOLED panel with deep blacks and punchy colors. So it can be overlooked because the display quality is eye-pleasing.

Heeding to positives, the Realme X7 comes with the MediaTek Dimensity 800U Processor, which is an excellent powerhouse from MediaTek. It can handle heavy tasks and gaming with ease.

The 64MP camera captures great shots in most lighting conditions. The 8MP wide-angle camera also does the job pretty well. Forget the 2MP camera because it’s of no use.

The 16MP front camera captures some sharp selfies. Selfies taken in bokeh mode are not that sharp but serviceable.

We were worried about the 4310 mAh battery, but we were surprised to get an amazing battery life out of it. This phone easily lasts for 1.5 days with regular use and one day with heavy use.

The phone is made of plastic, which feels sturdy in hands, but that big ‘DARE TO LEAP’ text written on the back looks weird.

It’s a 5G phone with four bands. Also, the single speaker is loud enough for most users.

Now, Who should buy the Realme X7?

See, if you want a 5G phone that performs really great in everyday use, but you can overlook the compromises that it has, then you should buy the Realme X7.

Pros and Cons

  • The camera quality is great
  • AMOLED display with punchy colors
  • Capable MediaTek Dimensity 800U processor
  • 5G supported
  • Good for gaming
  • Excellent battery life
  • Adequate speaker quality
  • Good value for money smartphone
  • No 3.5mm audio jack
  • No memory card slot
  • Only 60Hz refresh rate

Every smartphone has its own specialty. It depends on you what your needs are and what feature you want the most.

If you ask us, then the Redmi Note 10 Pro and Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G should be on top of your list.

If you want a great phone that offers everything, either its cameras, build, or display, then there is no better smartphone than the Redmi Note 10 Pro. It’s a feature-loaded smartphone.

On the other hand, if you want a 5G phone that offers most of the features with little to no compromises, the Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G is a stellar deal.

  1. Firstly, Thank you for the detailed list! I’m currently confused between POCO X3 Pro and POCO X4 Pro 5g, given that they’re almost at the same price point. Which one would you recommend and why, if you could share the key points, thanks.

    1. The Poco X3 Pro is still a performer for the price. If you want the best performance, then X3 Pro is a better choice. But the thing is, it’s slightly older now. So the software support will end sooner compared to X4 Pro.
On the other hand, if you want better cameras, display, and software support, then the newer Poco X4 Pro makes more sense.
If you don’t play very heavy games all the time, then go with the newer Poco X4 Pro 5G.

    1. Pixel 4a is an excellent phone, but its battery life is average. Better to skip the iPhone SE as the older-looking design and poor battery life will bother you in the long run. Galaxy F62 is a decent phone overall.
Still, we suggest you wait for the Realme X7 Max or GT Master Edition if you want an excellent value for money smartphone.
