There are multiple reasons to put Realme Buds Air 3S on the top, but three features impressed us are:

  • Good sound quality with heavy and clear bass.
  • Customizable EQ settings to get the right music experience.
  • IWP technology and dual pairing mode.

Realme Buds Air 3S is more focused on bass. But, despite having a bass-heavy sound, this TWS manages to take care of vocals and treble. Both of which don’t feel muffled.

The overall sound output is clear and loud. You can further increase the loudness using the app. These TWS are Dolby Atmos supported, but your phone should also support the same to work.

Although the Realme Link app is not mandatory, you can still use it to get the best out of Air 3S. The app allows you to customize sound profiles, change touch controls, turn On/Off dual pairing mode, and much more.

There is no ANC on this TWS, but still, it’s the most feature-packed TWS under 2500.

The design of the Realme Buds Air 3S is unique. It sits right in the middle of a regular and stem-style TWS. The buds have a comfortable design, and using them for long sessions won’t hurt your ears.

At 70% volume, you can get around 6 hours of battery life, which is not that bad. Using the case, you can charge the TWS 3-4 times.

The call quality is above average. It’s good and clear indoors, but noisy outdoors. The buds try to eliminate noise but also compress the sound clarity.

Although the company claims 69ms low latency in gaming, you should not use it for heavy gaming as the latency is more noticeable.

Verdict: For the price, the Realme Buds Air 3S delivers what it is expected to deliver. It sounds good with a bass signature and has all the features.

Pros and Cons

  • Very good sound quality
  • Heavy bass and clear vocals

The OnePlus Nord Buds was launched at Rs 2799, but after the launch of the OnePlus Nord Buds 2, its price has been dropped to Rs 2500.

For that price, it’s our favorite TWS earbud, and we won’t hesitate to recommend it.

Why? Because it offers a premium sound quality that most TWS lacks.

On the Nord Buds, OnePlus has emphasized the sound quality over other features like ANC, ENC, or gaming mode.

The 12.4mm Titanium driver is the largest in this segment and does an amazing job of delivering impressive sound quality.

OnePlus has tuned every frequency precisely on this TWS.

The main highlight of this earbud is the bass. It’s clear, deep, and has a punch to it.

Even at high volume, the bass remains similarly punchy and doesn’t distort.

The same goes for other frequencies, like vocals and treble. Both of these remain pleasing no matter what volume you are listening to music at.

We genuinely enjoy the sound on Nord Buds, and it’s the best TWS earbuds on this list for pure sound quality.

Realme Buds Air 3S also delivers enjoyable sound, but the sound from Nord Buds is louder and fuller.

But here comes the biggest con of Nord Buds, which is the lack of ANC.

At this price, OnePlus should have given some sort of noise cancellation to make this TWS a more appealing option.

What they have also skimped is the gaming mode. If you are a heavy gamer, then don’t buy the Nord Buds, as there is around one second of latency.

On a positive note, OnePlus has taken care of other aspects. For instance:

  • The build quality is one of the best under 3000. The Nord Buds feel premium.
  • The earbuds fit perfectly in the ears. Using them for multiple hours won’t be a problem.
  • Nord Buds don’t disappoint in the battery department. The buds can last 6.5 hours on a single charge and 26 hours combined.
  • The earbuds support fast charging. 10 minutes of charging can give 4-4.5 hours of music playback.
  • The IP55 rating is better than IPX5.
  • We have found that the call quality on Nord Buds is better and clear than the Realme Buds Air 3S. It’s not phenomenal, but still, it’s better.

Verdict: Overall, the Nord buds are an excellent pair of TWS that delivers impressive audio quality. It would have been a complete package if they had included ANC.

Pros and Cons

  • Premium build quality
  • Lightweight and comfortable design
  • Impressive sound quality
  • Heavy bass and clear vocals
  • Bass doesn’t muffle vocals and treble
  • Great battery life
  • IP55 water and dust resistance
  • No connectivity issue
  • No ANC
  • Not for heavy gaming

⦿ Half-Stem Style In Ear TWS
⦿ Bluetooth V5.3 with 12 meter range
⦿ 13 mm driver
⦿ 2 mic in total with AI ENC
⦿ 40mAH battery per earbud, 400mAH in charging case
⦿ 7+ hours of battery life, 60+ hours with the case
⦿ IP67 Rating
⦿ Fast charging, Gaming mode, Touch controls

The CrossBeats Opera is a new entry to this list, and we have to say that it’s a great TWS under 2500.

Most things on this TWS are positive, and the first starts with the design. The design of the TWS is mid-stem style, which means the TWS are small in size.

The same goes for the case, as it has smaller form factors, too. What’s great about the design is that the carrying case and TWS have a matt finish, which helps to avoid fingerprints.

Because of the smaller design, the earbuds fit comfortably in the ears, and listening to music for hours won’t cause any fatigue.

Sound is an area where this TWS shines. We know the sound is subjective, but if you are a bass lover, you will love this TWS.

The bass is deep and punchy and doesn’t muffle even at high volumes. Vocals and treble remain clear and punchy as well.

At times, you might notice that the vocals are compressed a little to enhance the bass, but most users won’t even notice it.

You don’t need to listen to music at full volume because the earbuds get pretty loud. 80% volume is more than enough for most users.

Overall, the sound quality is impressive.

What’s also impressive is the battery life. On earbuds themselves, you can get 7+ hours of battery at 75% volume and 50+ hours of battery with the carrying case.

So if you use these earbuds for 5 hours a day, you don’t need to charge them for 10 days straight.

Furthermore, if you are a gamer, you can consider this pair of TWS for sure. When entering into gaming mode, you won’t be able to notice any latency. So it’s an ideal pair of TWS for gaming.

Coming to call quality, this is another area where CrossBeats Opers does a pretty good job. The indoor call quality is very good, and the other person can hear your voice clearly. The outdoor call quality is decent, though.

Note that there is only AI ENC here, but to be honest, it doesn’t make a huge difference in blocking out the noise. It’s just decent.

Verdict: The CrossBeats Opera is a very solid offering from the company. If you want a tiny-looking TWS with great sound and excellent battery life, then this one is for you.

Pros and Cons

  • Solid build quality with matt finish
  • Comfortable design
  • Great sound quality with punchy bass
  • Clear vocals and treble
  • Excellent battery life
  • Great for gaming
  • Clear call quality indoor
  • Outdoor call quality is above average
  • No ANC

If you can increase your budget, then check these TWS earbuds under 3000 with ANC.

4. CrossBeats Revolt

CrossBeats Revolt

Main Highlights

⦿ In Ear Style TWS
⦿ Bluetooth V5.3 with 10 meter range
⦿ 10 mm driver with ANC
⦿ 6 mic in total
⦿ 45mAh per earbud, 480mAH in charging case
⦿ 6 hours with ANC, 7.5 hours w/o ANC, 42+ hours with the case
⦿ IPX4 Rating
⦿ Fast charging, Gaming mode, Voice assistant, Low Latency mode, Touch controls

CrossBeats Revolt is the new entry to the CrossBeats earbuds lineup and this list too.

Now, why should you buy the CrossBeats Revolt?

If you prefer clear and detailed sound quality, then this is the right pair of TWS for you.

Many users prefer clear sound quality with crispy vocals and trebles. They don’t care much about the bass. For those, the CrossBeats Revolt are the best earbuds.

You can clearly notice the details in songs, which enhances the music experience significantly. The vocals remain clear, and trebles remain punchy, even at full volume.

The CrossBeats Revolt is a vocal-centric earbud, but that doesn’t mean the bass is compromised entirely.

You can still hear the thump of the bass, but it’s not very loud and deep. It’s soft and lacks depth.

But overall, the sound quality is really good. If you are okay with slightly less bass, then you will love the CrossBeats Revolt.

The ANC, which is the main highlight, works well. It eliminates around 80% of the noise and makes everything silent.

The ANC is not perfect, as you can still hear blowing horns and some other sounds, but for the price, it’s worth appreciating.

It’s good to see that the CrossBeats Revolt doesn’t compromise in other aspects.

The build quality is good, and the earbuds feel solid in the hands.

The battery life is on the impressive side. With ANC ON, you will get around 6 hours, and with ANC OFF, you will get around 7.5 hours of battery life, which is great.

With the carrying case, the earbuds can last as long as 42+ hours at 75% volume.

We had high hopes for calling, as the earbuds had six mics, but the extra mics didn’t make a significant difference.

The call quality is really good indoors, but outdoor call quality is just average. The other person can hear wind and traffic noise easily.

The company claims 40ms low latency for gaming, and in real life, it’s mostly accurate.

You will get around 50ms latency, which is good for gaming.

Verdict: The CrossBeats Revolt is an impressive TWS under 2500. If you prioritize clear sound over heavy bass, then it is possibly the best option to buy.

Pros and Cons

  • Lightweight and comfortable design
  • Enjoyable sound quality
  • Clear vocals and trebles
  • Decent bass
  • ANC works well
  • Great battery life
  • IPX4 Rating

You might not have heard of MadRabbit because it’s a new audio brand in the Indian market.

If you are wondering, it’s an Indian audio brand founded in 2022 and headquartered in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

As of now, there are limited products in their portfolio, and MadRabbit Liquid TWS is one of them.

Now, why should you buy MadRabbit Liquid?

The first reason is the design. These earbuds are tiny and fit perfectly in the ears.

Although stem-style earbuds have a more secure fit, the MadRabbit Liquid will also offer a similar fit and comfort because of the small size.

The carrying case also has the same tiny design, making it one of the most portable carrying cases.

The build quality is plastic but looks and feels slightly premium. The case has a matt finish, and the earbuds have glossy and matte finishes both.

One might wonder, how do 6mm drivers sound?

Well, you won’t be disappointed with the audio output.

The MadRabbit Liquid produces clear and crisp sound quality. That means the vocals and trebles are well-tuned.

The vocals are clear and instrumental separation is great. You can listen to the sound playing in the background.

Many people prefer crisp treble, and these earbuds have that. The treble remains soothing and doesn’t hurt ears, even at full volume.

Heavy bass lovers might get a little disappointed, but still, the bass output is good. You can clearly feel the thump of the bass, but it doesn’t feel that deep.

Overall, the sound output is more focused on clarity rather than heavy bass, and you will enjoy it.

The company claims 40ms latency for gaming, and the claims are mostly accurate. The gaming experience has been great on these earbuds.

However, if gaming is your only priority, you should look for other options, as you might notice some latency here.

The earbuds use ENC tech, which ensures you get the best calling experience. In real life, the call experience turns out to be good.

It’s not mind-blowing but good. The indoor call quality is good, and the outdoors is above average.

What’s not average is the battery life.

On a single charge, the earbuds can last up to 6.5 hours at 75% volume. Using the case, you can get 35 hours of music playback at the same volume level.

The auto-connect feature works well, but you have to take the buds out of the carrying case to establish a connection with the last paired device.

Verdict: Overall, the MadRabbit Liquid is a good pair of TWS earbuds under 2500. If you want small-size earbuds that sound good and have all useful features except for a few, then this one is a good option.

Pros and Cons

  • Lightweight and comfortable design
  • Easy to carry
  • Good sound quality
  • Clear vocals and crisp trebles
  • Good bass
  • Solid total battery life
  • IPX5 water and sweat resistance
  • Good call quality indoors
  • The outdoor call quality could have been improved

        1. The call quality is decent on both. Both TWS do a good job indoors, but in a noisy environment or outdoors, both perform average.
The Encho buds 2 tries to eliminate noise but also compresses the voice clarity to some extent.
The Realme buds Q2 is louder in calls, but another person will also hear surround noise.
For indoor usage, both are good. But Oppo Encho buds 2 is slightly better in call clarity.
