Frankly speaking, the wobble issue is there in all Victus models, but it’s not something that will affect the overall experience.

To test it, we put the HP Victus 16 below the fan running at a slower speed, and the lid was tilted at around 120°.

There were zero wobbles.

We increased the fan speed to medium, and still, there were no wobbles.

Finally, we put the fan speed to maximum, and now we started noticing slight wobble. But still, it was not that prominent to affect our work experience.

We took another HP laptop and tested it in the same scenario. And the results were almost similar.

Even while typing in normal conditions, we noticed a slight wobble, but not it was not alarming.

So yes, the wobble issue is there on HP Victus, but it’s just normal and doesn’t affect the overall experience.

But in case you use your laptop while traveling, then you might get annoyed with these wobbles.

How is the HP Victus battery life?

Gaming laptops don’t last for long because of the power-hungry components. The same goes for HP Victus 16.

While gaming, HP Victus laptops last for 2-2.5 hours, which is good because these laptops have powerful components.

While doing regular work, these laptops can last for 5-6 hours, depending on what you are doing.

It is the max you will get from HP Victus laptops in the battery department.

Which HP Victus 16 variant is Best?

There is no doubt that all variants of HP Victus 16 laptops are worth buying. But still, there are a few models that are the best value for money.

1. HP Victus 16-D0354TX

Sitting right above the base variant, the Victus 16-d0354TX is possibly the best variant among the whole lineup.

But first, let’s know why you should pick this variant over others.

The base variant is priced under Rs 60000 and comes with a GTX 1650 GPU. This laptop GPU is powerful, but by stretching your budget to 70k, you will get an RTX 3050 GPU, which is insanely powerful.

That’s the reason why this laptop is one of the best.

This laptop houses an Intel Core i5-11400H CPU which is a powerful CPU for the price.

You might not find the i5 CPU at 70k a good deal, but it is a good deal in real life.

Its 6 Cores and 12 Threads help in better gaming. When both these powerful CPUs and GPU are combined, they deliver an excellent gaming performance.

The RAM is only 8GB, but luckily, you can upgrade it up to 32GB using the two 16GB slots. The storage is a 512GB SSD which is standard at this price.

As said earlier, there is a little wobbling problem that you might face. It seems like the hinge of the laptop is loose, which results in a slight wobble. But it’s not a big issue.

Though, the design is not gaming-centric. At first glance, you might get mistaken by its look. The curved corners and bulky design are gone, and HP has gone for a simple design approach.

Calling it a professional-looking gaming laptop won’t be wrong.

The 70Whr battery is claimed to last for 9 hours on average, but you should expect it to last for 3-4 hours on gaming. It’s a decent number because the internal components are powerful.

The latest and greatest Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 are here that supports Gigabit data rate.

On the software front, this variant comes with Windows 11 preinstalled. So you don’t have to worry about upgrading Windows.

One issue with the laptop is the placement of the power button. It is placed on the left side of the delete button, which might lead to accidental presses.

The laptop doesn’t turn off the press. Rather, it goes to sleep mode. But still, it’s a weird place to put the power button.
