The primary reason to pick the Airdopes 413 is the ANC. We have found that it’s not as good as premium earbuds, but for the price, it’s one of the best ANC.

Now you might ask, the boAt Airdopes 393 also had ANC, then why haven’t we included that?

There are a few reasons for that.

  • The ANC of 413 is slightly better than 393.
  • The overall sound signature is more balanced and pronounced on 413, whereas 393 is focused on bass only.
  • Although the price is almost similar, you can get the 413 for cheaper. That way, you can save some money.
  • The call quality is a tad better on 413.

So these are the reasons why we have included the 413 over the 393.

Coming to the boAt 413, when you turn on the ANC, you will notice a significant drop in noise. It eliminates around 80% of the noise, and everything feels silent.

The sound quality on Airdopes 413 ANC is very good for the price. It’s loud, and there is no distortion in the sound. The vocals and treble are clear and punchy.

The bass is slightly heavy, which is expected from boAt, but we like the fact that it’s not overpowered. It has depth and punch, which makes the music experience more enjoyable.

The earbuds are well-built and don’t leave much to desire. But the case quality feels slightly cheap.

Many people prefer stem-style TWS for more comfort, and for those, the boAt 413 ANC is a great option.

The earbuds last for around 5 hours on a single charge with ANC OFF and close to 4.5 hours with ANC ON.

If you are a gamer, then this TWS is not for you, as there is no dedicated gaming mode. In that case, the boAt Airdopes 393 is a better option.

The call quality on boAt 413 is also good, especially indoors. The outdoor call quality is decent, but the person on the receiver end will hear some of the surrounding noise.

This TWS is feature-packed, but you can’t change songs using touch controls, which is disappointing. They should have given this option because one can’t keep taking the phone out of the pocket to change the tracks.

Verdict: The boAt Airdopes 413 ANC delivers all the features, including great sound quality and good ANC. It’s one of the best boAt Airdopes in the market. However, if you are not fond of boAt, here are some other TWS under 2500.

Pros and Cons

  • Solid build quality
  • Comfortable stem style design
  • Good ANC considering the price
  • Very good sound quality
  • Deep and pleasing bass
  • Very good call quality
  • IPX4 rating
  • Decent battery life
  • No option to change music tracks
  • Not suitable for heavy gaming

boAt has just launched the boAt Airdopes Fuel. The launch price was Rs 1400, but now, it’s available for around Rs 1700.

The very first thing you will notice about the Airdopes Fuel is its ring shape box. We usually don’t see such design choices from boAt.

Because of this design, the case feels slightly bigger when sitting in a jean pocket.

The build quality is impressive. The case has a textured design on its lid, which feels premium. The rest of the body is covered with a matt finish.

The earbuds also have the same finish. It means they won’t attract fingerprints.

Also, the earbuds have a strong magnetic hold and don’t fall that easily.

The stem style design assures that the earbuds fit perfectly in the ears and won’t cause fatigue. You can listen to music all day long, as the design is comfortable.

The thing that will make you listen to music all day long is the sound quality. For the price of around 1700, the boAt Airdopes Fuel delivers impressive sound quality.

As earbuds support AAC codec, you can enjoy the finest details in songs. The vocals are clear and don’t feel artificial. They feel real to life.

The trebles are crispy and soothing. They don’t get too sharp to hurt ears but remain pleasant.

As expected from boAt earbuds, you get deep and thumping bass here, too, but note that the bass is not overpowered. The amount of bass is right at the point where it should be.

Yes, if you are a super heavy bass lover, then you might not like Airdopes Fuel, but if you want a well-balanced sound with solid bass, then these are one of the best.

The earbuds get too loud, so we advise keeping the max volume at 80% to save the battery and your ears.

Overall, you won’t have any complaints regarding the sound quality.

We don’t say it very often, but the call quality is good. The quad mic with ENx tech works for real and makes a difference.

The indoor quality is great, and the outdoor call quality is also very good. The person on the other end can clearly hear your voice, even if you make a call from a noisy environment.

For gaming, the earbuds have Beast Mode with 40ms low latency. The claim is mostly true, and you will have a good gaming experience. Still, we don’t suggest these for extremely heavy gaming.

Features like IPX4 rating, IWP, Quick Switch, and touch controls all work well.

The battery life is great, too. The earbuds can last up to 6.5 hours on a single charge at 75% volume. With the case, you will get around 42 hours of battery life.

Verdict: Most things in the boAt Airdopes Fuel are good. It’s safe to say that these are all-rounder earbuds. The only thing we don’t like is the price fluctuation.

Pros and Cons

  • Lightweight and comfortable design
  • Good sound quality for the price
  • Good bass and clear vocals
  • Good total battery life
  • Decent battery life on earbuds
  • IPX7 water and sweat resistance
  • IWP Technology
  • Excellent value for money
  • The call quality could have been improved
  • Not that comfortable for small ears

The boAt Airdopes 170 was out of stock for months, and we had to remove it from this list.

But it is now available to buy, and we had to add it to this list again.

The thing that forced us to add this TWS to this list is the sound quality.

We love the sound quality of boAt Airdopes 170.

boAt earbuds are generally bass-heavy, but the Airdopes 170 is different. Its primary focus is audio clarity rather than throwing bass everywhere.

While listening to songs, you will notice the crispy treble and clear vocals. This clarity is something that you will appreciate.

The instrument separation is good, and the sounds playing in the background are clearly audible.

The bass is just decent. It’s not overpowered, like other earbuds, but it is still good and enjoyable.

If you are a heavy bass lover, then you should skip it, but if you want clarity with decent bass, then these are the best TWS earbuds under 1500.

Moving to other aspects, the build quality is impressive. The carrying case and the earbuds are sturdy, and the matt finish adds a premium touch.

Because the earbuds are stem-style, they fit perfectly in the earbuds without causing any fatigue.

The battery life is impressive, too. The earbuds can last 5 hours at 85% volume, 6 hours at 70% volume, and 7 hours at 50% volume.

Using the case, you will get anywhere between 23 to 30 hours of music playback.

The gaming performance is also great. As the earbuds have 50ms low latency, you can play most games without any delay in sound.

However, you should buy these for high-end gaming.

One area where the boAt Airdopes 170 disappoints is the call quality.

The indoor call quality is decent, but the outdoor call quality is poor.

If you want to know about this earbud in detail, we advise you to check our boAt Airdopes 170 review, where we have covered this TWS in detail.

Verdict: If you care about sound clarity over unnecessary heavy bass, then the boAt Airdopes 170 is an excellent option. For the price, it’s a great value.

Pros and Cons

  • Lightweight and comfortable design
  • Clear and open sound stages
  • Clear vocals and punchy treble
  • Well balanced bass
  • Great battery life
  • IPX4 water and sweat resistance
  • IWP Technology
  • Good option for gaming
  • Excellent value for money
  • Poor call quality outdoors
  • Not for extreme bass lovers

4. boAt Airdopes 141

Main Highlights

⦿ Stem-style In Ear
⦿ Bluetooth V5.0 (10m Range)
⦿ Dual mic (one mic per earbud)
⦿ 8 mm Driver
⦿ 30mAH battery per earbud, 600mAH in charging case
⦿ 4.5 to 5 hours battery life, 42 hours with the case
⦿ IPX4 rating, ENx, Beast Mode, Fast charging Type-C port, Voice assistant, IWP, Touch controls
⦿ 60 g weight with the case
⦿ Check Best Price

If you have a limited budget of under Rs 1500 and want a good stem-style TWS, then the boAt Airdopes 141 is another excellent option after boAt 170.

Because it’s a stem-style TWS, it fits nicely in the ears. Even if you have small ears, this TWS won’t cause fatigue.

The earbuds are made of plastic, and the quality is really good for the price. These feel sturdy in hand.

boAt is known for offering bass-heavy sound. But sometimes, the bass interrupts the vocals and treble and deteriorates the music experience.

But there is no such case here in the boAt Airdopes 141. For the price, we weren’t expecting these to sound good, but surprisingly, they did.

The bass is deep and punchy but doesn’t muffle the vocals and treble. You will love listening to the DJ songs on this TWS.

The vocals are clear, and the treble is nice. Overall, listening to music on the boAt Airdopes 141 has been a joyful experience.

boAt has taken care of the battery and offered 42 hours of music playback. The earbuds can last between 4.5-5 hours at 80% volume.

Features like an IPX4 rating, type-C charging port, IWP technology, and fast charging add extra convenience to the user.

In the newer version of boAt 141, two new features, ENx Tech and Beast mode, have been added.

The ENx should help in better call quality, but sadly, it doesn’t make a noticeable difference. The indoor call quality is decent, but the outdoor is just the opposite.

The beast mode makes a difference and reduces the latency while gaming. It makes the whole gaming experience a lot more enjoyable.

Yes, it doesn’t match up with the wired earphones, but when it comes to wireless, the boAt 141 is easily one of the best TWS for gaming under 1500 after Airdopes 170.

Verdict: If the stem-style design is your priority, and you want a great-sounding TWS on a budget, then the Airdopes 141 is a good option.

Pros and Cons

  • Great sound quality considering the price
  • Good bass with clear vocals
  • Excellent battery life in total
  • Good battery life on earbuds
  • IPX4 water and sweat resistance
  • IWP Technology means ease of connectivity
  • Beast mode works well for gaming
  • Lightweight and comfortable design
  • Average call quality
  • The ENx tech doesn’t make any noticeable difference

⦿ 103 g weight with the case
⦿ Check Best Price

For the price of around under, the boAt Airdopes 441 Pro is a complete package, but there are two main reasons to buy this TWS.

  • If you are a heavy bass lover and bass is your main priority.
  • If you want a small size (Not Stem-Syle) TWS earbuds.

While listening to music on 441 Pro, we noticed that it delivers good sound quality. The bass is on the heavy side, which is deep and punchy.

The company has done a decent job of balancing the treble and vocals too. The overall sound quality is really good.

Because these are small-size TWS earbuds, they get fitted in the ears comfortably. But if you have small ears, the boAt 441 Pro might give you earache in longer music sessions.

We haven’t faced any connectivity issues, thanks to Bluetooth 5.0, and features like IWP work just fine. Other Features like IPX7 rating, voice assistant, and Type C port comes in handy.

Most things are good in this TWS, but what’s not good is the call quality. It is good indoors but noisy outdoors.

The person on the other end can hear you properly in a silent place, but it’s the opposite in a noisy environment.

One area where 441 Pro excels is the total music playback. With the carrying case, you can get 130+ hours of total music playback, which is an exception.

On earbuds, you will get 4+ hours of battery life.

So the overall experience with boAt Airdopes 441 has been pretty satisfactory.

Verdict: The boAt Airdopes 441 is the most popular and loved TWS. It sounds great for the price and has all the useful features you would need.

Pros and Cons

  • Lightweight and comfortable design
  • Good sound quality for the price
  • Good bass and clear vocals
  • Good total battery life
  • Decent battery life on earbuds
  • IPX7 water and sweat resistance
  • IWP Technology
  • Excellent value for money
  • The call quality could have been improved
  • Not that comfortable for small ears

Honorable Mention

If you have a good quality earbud for around Rs 2000 with ANC, then we would like to recommend the boAt Airdopes 393 ANC.

It was launched for around Rs 3000, which was way too much for what it offers. But now, you can get the boAt 393 ANC for around Rs 2000.

For that price, it comes with:

  • 10mm driver
  • ANC up to 32db
  • Bluetooth 5.2
  • 25 hours of total battery (at 70% volume)
  • IWP and ENx Tech
  • Fast charging and Gaming mode

The overall sound quality is really good for the current price. It’s similar to what you get on boAt products.

The bass is deep, the vocals are clear, and the trebles are punchy. You will enjoy the overall sound quality.

What enhances the sound quality further is the ANC. The ANC works well and eliminates noise. You will notice a difference the moment you turn on the ANC.

Overall, the ANC is good for the price.

The boAt 393 ANC won’t disappoint you in other regards. You get solid battery life and good call quality.

If available for around Rs 2000 to 2200, you can surely buy the boAt 393 ANC.

Things we don’t like about boAT

What we don’t like about boAt is the number of earbuds they are launching.

What’s the point of launching a similar TWS, with similar features and sound, at a similar price?

It does nothing but create confusion in the buyer’s mind.

Instead of launching new earbuds every other week, boAt should focus on fine-tuning the sound and improving the overall quality.

Final Verdict on Best boAt Airdopes

So these are the best boAt Airdopes in the different price segments, but which one should you buy out of these?

Well, all the mentioned Airdopes are the best in their price segment. You can buy any of these depending on your budget and needs.

Still, if we had to recommend the best, that would be the boAt Airdopes 413 ANC. It’s a complete package with a perfect blend of features, sound, ANC, and price.

Our second recommendation would be the newly launched boAt Airdopes Fuel. It’s a great all-rounder pair of TWS earbuds for around Rs 1700.

However, if your budget is strickly under 1500, then there is no better option than the boAt Airdopes 170.

But as said earlier, if you wish to go for other Airdopes listed above, you can go without worrying, as all are worth buying.

What are the benefits of buying boAt Airdopes?

  • They look more stylish and futuristic. The future is going to be wireless and true wireless earbuds are one example of that.
  • The portability they offer is just great. Just put it in the case they come with, and carry it anywhere. And yes, you can put these in your jeans pocket easily.
  • You don’t need to worry about the charging. Just put the earbuds in the case, and it will start charging the earbuds automatically. All you need to do is keep the carrying case charged.
  • You can connect these with two devices at the same time. For example, a phone and a laptop can be connected at the same time.

There are many other features of using Airdopes, but the above are the features that enhance the overall user experience with Airdopes.

Which boAt Airdopes is best for workout?

As far as we have experienced, stem style (Airpod style) earbuds offer a better grip and fit perfectly in the ears.

They don’t fall easily as compared to a regular small-size earbud.

So, we suggest you buy stem-style airdopes for the workout or other physical activity.

For that matter, you should go for the boAt Airdopes 413 ANC, 170, or 141. These Airdopes are best for workout sessions.

Now we hope you have a better idea of which boat Airdopes is best for you.

        – Having ANC?
        – Comfortable if using it for multiple hours continuously

Airdrops 161 offers slightly heavy bass compared to others.
None of these TWS comes with ANC.
Comfort is no problem in any of these TWS as all come with stem-style design.

  2. Hi, Which airdopes have heavy bass? Boat airdopes 601 ANC or Boat Airdopes 141? And also which one is better overall?

    1. The sound quality of Airdopes 601 ANC is good, but it doesn’t justify the price tag of Rs 4500.
Boat Airdopes 141 offers more value as it’s priced under Rs 1200.
Bass quality is slightly better on the 601 ANC, but for that price, we advise you to go with the OnePlus Buds Z2.

    3. For small ears which is the best airdope?
    4. Not fan of high bass. Which airdopes can be recommended?
So altogether, answering these questions, which is the best I can go for?

    1. With Bluetooth 5.2, larger amounts of information can be transmitted at lower power. It means BT 5.2 offers a more stable connection with least audio loss.
The difference between 441 Pro and 621 is minor as 441 is slightly on bass side and 621 isn’t.
For smaller ears, you can go for the Airdopes 141 as it’s a stem style TWS.

    1. Because of the silicon ear tips, these TWS block outer noise to some level, which is known as passive noise cancelation. But there is no dedicated active noise cancellation on these.

  5. Boat airpodes 381 and bassheads 100
    Airpodes 121v2 and bassheads 100
I want to know the difference between these thing’s “bass” because I don’t like bass!

    1. Airdopes are basically truly wireless earphones from boAt. So Airdopes 381 and 121V2 are TWS that deliver a good sound experience. Whereas the bassheads 100 is a wired earphone that is mainly focused on delivering good sound with heavy bass.
If you don’t prefer heavy bass, then you can buy the boAt Airdopes 281 Pro.

    1. Both the Airdopes are the same except for the battery life of the carrying case. The battery life on the earbuds itself is the same. So, If you really don’t need that extra battery life, go with the 441.

  6. What is standby time and should it really matter to us while buying? Also, how is 452 compared to 441 which has an asap charge and price is also less by 500 rs. except the total playback time reduced a bit?

    1. We still recommend you the boAt Airdopes 441 over the 381 because it’s more comfortable and offers features that are useful in daily life.
The sound quality on boAt Airdopes 452 isn’t that good, but it’s good for gaming purposes. Don’t worry much about the stand-by time. For Rs 1300, the boAt Airdopes 452 is a decent deal, but by adding Rs 400, you can get 441 which is better than the other two.
Note that the call quality is good, but not as good as the wired earphones. If you are used to crystal clear call quality, then you might feel a little disappointed in the beginning. Although, it’s fine for WFH.

  7. boAt Airdopes 381 seems almost the same as 441 which is recommended here, and the price is less by around 400rs, except the 1 hr extra charge on buds and the IPX rating. Any suggestions which can be preferred? Also, call quality indoors mentioned is good for both, so all office calls during WFH will be clear if used?

    1. Yes, the bass is good on Airdopes 621, but if you are a very heavy bass lover, then you might get a little disappointed. In such a case, you might need to customize the settings using an EQ.

  8. I want to buy boat 402 but on site it shows 30hrs music time and Bluetooth version 5.2 but in manual it’s shown 16hrs music time and Bluetooth version 5.0? Why it’s so?

    1. The information given on the official website is incorrect. boAt Airdopes comes with Bluetooth 5.0 and 16 hours of music playback. They might have shared the wrong info unintentionally.

  9. I want to buy boat airdropes. I am going for boat airdopes 281pro so can you suggest me best of segment for battery , ipx5 , good bass and also tell me which color should I purchase in airdopes 281 pro active black or aqua blue.

    1. boAt Airdopes 281Pro is a good earbud with balanced sound quality. Note that the bass is good but not too heavy. If you are an average user, then you will be happy with the bass. Overall sound signature is satisfactory.
The earbuds can last for 5-6 hours on a single charge depending on the volume.
The color options are completely up to you. If you ask our personal opinion, then the Black color looks more classy with the matt finish.
